Ingredients: Organic China black tea, Organic: ginger, cardamom, red peppercorns, cinnamon, cloves

How to Steep: 1–1.5 tsp, 8 oz water, 205°F. Steep 3–5 min.

Fun Fact:  Although the ayurvedic spices used in Masala Chai go back thousands of years, consumption of black tea and spices within India remained low until a promotional campaign by the Indian Tea Association in the early 20th century encouraging factories to provide tea breaks for their workers.  The campaign also supported "chaiwallas" who were encouraged to prepare and sell Masala chai at train stations throughout India.
