Fun Fact: "The Christmas Song" (also known as "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire") is a classic Christmas song written in 1945 by Robert Wells and Mel Torme and is considered one of the most-performed Christmas songs. Although many singers have recorded it, the definitive version is Nat King Cole's 1961 recording. In 2022, that version was selected by the Library of Congress for preservation in the National Recording Registry.
